Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste is one of the oldest wineries in the Medoc. Since it was purchased by the Borie family in 1978, it continues to be fmaily owned and operated; a rarity in Bordeaux. This wine is always mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with a small amount of Merlot. The 2016 Grand Puy-Lacoste has notes of blackberry, dark cherry, cassis and tobacco aromas with touches of mint. Medium bodied with supple tannins and a long finish.
