Shooting the Brézé with Arnaud Lambert

February 2 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Arnaud Lambert is making some of the most remarkable wines not just in the Loire Valley, but in all of France.

After the passing of his father, Arnaud has taken on the challenge of producing wines from the once famous vines of Brézé in Saumur. His mineral laden Chenin blancs are chiseled from ancient grand cru vineyards, each walled in and named by monks centuries ago. They deliver a wine drinking experience closer to Meursault than anything we’ve tasted in the Loire. His Cabernet France’s offer a chance to peer into the soul of each vineyard and see what is possible in a place that has been nearly forgotten until recent times. For many of us these are the most compelling wines in our shop, and this tasting will be a rare opportunity to discover these wines of “the forgotten hill”.

This tasting includes some delicious cheese & charcuterie from Soffritto. Please notify us of any allergies or dietary restrictions

To ensure we start the tasting on time, please arrive a few minutes prior to the event. Free 3 hour customer parking is available in the underground parkade behind Save On foods.

Safety is our #1 priority. Please ensure you plan for a safe ride home.
